The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid (2018), directed by Blake Harris and Chris Bouchard, is a reinterpretation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale. The plot follows Cam Harrison (William Moseley), a young reporter who travels to Mississippi with his sick niece, Elle (Loreto Peralta), in search of a miracle cure. During their investigation, they discover a traveling circus that claims to have a real mermaid (Poppy Drayton).

Intrigued but skeptical, Cam visits the circus and soon realizes that the mermaid is real. However, she is being held prisoner by the evil sorcerer Locke (Armando Gutierrez), who uses her to produce the magic elixir. With Elle's help, Cam sets out to free her, facing challenges presented by Locke and his assistant.
