In the year 1720, a merchant ruined by the sinking of his ships is forced to move to the countryside with his six children. Among them is Belle, the youngest, known for her beauty, kindness and dreamy nature. During a journey in search of sustenance, the merchant finds a mysterious castle and, after taking a simple rose for his daughter, awakens the wrath of its owner, a magical creature known as the Beast.

Sentenced to death, the merchant is saved when Belle decides to sacrifice herself and take his place in the castle. There, Belle discovers a world full of magic and secrets, where the Beast, despite his fearsome appearance, hides a broken humanity. Between moments of fear, joy and melancholy, Belle and the Beast develop a relationship that defies the barriers of time and love.

A visually enchanting film that reinterprets the classic fairy tale.
