Ever After: A Cinderella Story

Ever After offers a refreshingly realistic take on the classic Cinderella tale. Set in the French Renaissance, the film follows Danielle de Barbarac (Drew Barrymore), a brave and independent young woman whose life changes dramatically after the death of her father. Raised by her ruthless stepmother Rodmilla (Anjelica Huston) and her two daughters, Danielle is relegated to the role of servant in her own home.

Despite her situation, Danielle does not lose her fighting spirit or her compassion. Her path crosses with that of Prince Henry (Dougray Scott), a rebellious young man searching for his purpose in life.
